- The term ‘SOLS smart’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ or ‘the company’ refers to SOLS smart, the owner of the website whose registered office is 1Petaling Commerz & Residential Condos, Level 1, Units 1 to 17, Jalan 1C/149, Off Jalan Sungai Besi, 57100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Collected Information
Quote requests. When you request a training quote, we collect your first name, last name, work email address, phone number, and the name of your company or organisation, along with the number of participants you are training. You may also give us your job title, your preferred training dates, the courses you are interested in, and any notes you add. We use these to prepare a quotation and to contact you about it.
Enquiries. When you use the contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address and your message, so that we can reply to you. You may also give us a phone number and the name of your company or organisation, both of which are optional.
Technical information sent with a form. When you submit either form, we also record the IP address the submission came from. It is sent to HubSpot with the rest of the submission and is used to tell genuine enquiries apart from automated ones and to understand where enquiries come from. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Direct contact. If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, email or social media, we hold the contact details you reach us with and a record of the enquiry.
We use the information you give us to:
- Reply to your enquiry and prepare any quotation you asked for.
- Contact you about training you have enquired about or booked.
- Send you information related to your enquiry or a programme you have registered for.
- Understand which of our courses people are asking about, so we can plan what we offer.
Marketing emails
We only send you marketing email if you have given us your details and have not asked us to stop. Every marketing email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and we act on unsubscribe requests promptly. You can also ask us to stop at any time by emailing smart@solssmart.com, and we will remove you from all marketing correspondence. Opting out of marketing does not stop us replying to an enquiry you have made.
Disclosure of Personal Information
We will not share your information with any other organisations other than our corporate group and those third parties directly related to and necessary functionality for which you have authorised. In exceptional circumstances, we may be required to disclose personal information, such as when there are grounds to believe that the disclosure is necessary to prevent a threat to life or health or is required by the law. SOLS smart is committed to complying with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, in particular, its policies as well as corresponding guidelines and orders. If you believe that your privacy has been breached, don't hesitate to get in touch with us and we will resolve the issue.
Your Rights to Access and Correct Your Personal Data
We ensure that all personal data collected is stored and protected in a way that maintains its accuracy and confidentiality, and is safeguarded against misuse, unauthorised access, alteration, destruction or manipulation.
You may access and correct the personal data we hold about you, and you may at any time choose to opt out of receiving marketing content from us. For help with either, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
If the personal data you give us is incomplete, we may not be able to provide the services you have asked for.
Consent
By submitting your personal data to us, you consent to it being used as set out in this policy.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as it is needed for the purpose you gave it to us, or for as long as is reasonably useful for operational and reporting purposes. We may also retain information that has been de-identified or aggregated such that it can no longer reasonably identify a particular individual. We may not be able to delete data when you volunteer personal information. For example, the information you submitted to linked platforms, including but not limited to Google Forms, HubSpot forms, WhatsApp messages, Social Media pages, email messages and email marketing platforms. If you have specific information, you would like deleted on these external platforms, feel free to contact us for assistance. We may also retain certain data as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and as otherwise permitted by applicable law. Retained personal information will remain subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Do we use cookies?
Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website: which pages are read, how people arrive, and where they leave. It reports on visits in aggregate and we do not use it to identify you personally.
This website carries no advertising. Our analytics property is linked to a Google Ads account, so information about visits here may be used to build audiences for advertising we run on other services, such as Google Search. If you would rather that did not happen, the opt-out options below apply.
Opting out
You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings as described above.
Children
This website is aimed at organisations arranging training for their teams, and at adults enquiring about our programmes. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us their personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

SOLS smart reserves the right to modify and change the privacy policy at any time. Any changes to this policy will be published on our website. You should check this policy each time you access our website so as to be aware of the most recent applicable version of the policy.
