Teng Cheng Siong
I have more than 40 years of work experience. Refusing to retire, I have made it my mission to use my vast knowledge and experience to teach English to adults and children. I come from a background of English medium education from primary through secondary to tertiary levels. English has been practically my first language as I use it at home and predominantly at work. However, I call myself bilingual as I am very fluent in both English and Malay.
I have extensive experience in the fields of human resource management, training and development and in management. In the past I have headed departments in universities and colleges such as Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Nilai University, Sunway College, and University of Malaya, as well as companies in the corporate sector.
I have a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree and a Master of Economics degree from the University of Malaya. I have also attended a short course in education in the University of London. As a believer in lifelong learning, my curiosity has led me to explore many fields of knowledge and, in fact, recently I completed a course in coding and went on to build websites.
