I am Jonathan Anthony and I have joined SOLS smart as a professional trainer in English. The programme has intrigued me when I first discovered it, and it is pleasing to know that it has yielded good fruits for the students. I have always been interested and passionate about teaching people for I believe that it renders great service to society.
Being a former teacher at Montfort Boys Town, I have gained my experience in journeying with young adults from all walks of life. Through my coaching of students in public speaking, the Institution won the championship amongst their competitors last year. Prior to this, I started my career line as an editor for a couple of years and worked even in the sales line before pursuing my career in teaching; all which gave me great experience in writing, the usage of correct grammar and the technique of presentation.
I hail from Seremban, a town towards the south of Malaysia and I was brought up and educated there, completing all my Primary and Secondary studies at St Paul’s Institution. I furthered my education in the field of Humanities, Latin and Philosophy at Holy Cross Seminary before continuing my Law studies at Brickfields Asia College, one of the most esteemed Law studies in the country. I enjoy learning other languages and the art of voice presentation. I took up French at beginner and intermediate level at the Alliance Francaise in Kuala Lumpur. I also love mimicry and woodworking as part of my relaxing and entertaining hobbies.
